Black & Brew is only available in the brewer's Winter Classics 12 pack sampler. The sampler also has a nice Porter and Chocolate Bock as well as the despicable Winter Lager and Old Fezziwig Ale. (And of course, two bottles of Boston lager.)

Sammy describes Black & Brew as a “dark brew that combines roasted coffee with a rich, full-bodied stout. For the authentic coffee flavor, we use 1.5 pounds of Sumatran coffee beans per barrel, added late in the brewing process to provide the most flavor possible. This brew finishes with underlying roasty notes of chocolate, caramel, and dark fruit from our select blend of malts.”

POUR/TASTE: There are other examples of Coffee Stouts on the market, but this is the first one I've tried. Black & Brew pours like a nice dark cup of coffee. The aromatic coffee smell is apparent immediately after your pour the beer into a pint glass. It has a rich roasted flavor that combines the best of a killer American Stout that's not too thick or heavy with the nice bitter bite of a coffee bean. This is one incredible brew.

WOULD YOU BUY IT AGAIN? Hell, yeah. Black & Brew is one of the best beers I've ever reviewed here on MANLAND. It's just a bummer that it's only available in the twelve pack.
